Adnkronos Rome, November 17 (Adnkronos) – It's appliance bonus day. Starting at 7:00 a.m. today, Tuesday, November 18, the click-through period opens for requesting the incentive to replace obsolete appliances with energy-efficient models, which covers up to 30% of the purchase price.
Thanks to the bonus, purchasing high-efficiency appliances not only reduces energy costs but also contributes to environmental sustainability by promoting more conscious energy use at home.
Individuals of legal age residing in Italy are eligible for the grant, according to the access procedures established, in particular, by Article 5 of the Ministerial Decree of October 22, 2025. The voucher has a maximum limit of €100 per household and €200 for families with an ISEE of less than €25.000.
But what can you buy? It's important to remember that only highly energy-efficient appliances—such as washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, and hobs—are eligible, broken down by product category. This is a list of all appliances eligible for the subsidy.
The grant can be spent on the purchase of one appliance per household through the retailer. The grant will be paid until available funds are exhausted, and requests will be processed in chronological order. Any requests exceeding available funds will be placed on a list, pending possible availability of funds under the measure.
But how do you apply? End users can apply through the Io app and the Pagopa Pari platform with which it's integrated, or through .
To proceed, users must update the Io app to the latest available version, access the "Services" section, select "Appliance Bonus," and follow the steps in the app. Alternatively, they can request the bonus by logging in with SPID or CIE.
Users will receive a message on Io confirming their application's success after the requirements have been verified. Processing times can vary from a few hours to a few days, depending on the volume of requests.
If approved, the voucher will be available in the Wallet section of the app and must be used within 15 days of the activation confirmation message for purchases at participating merchants. Vouchers will be distributed until funds are exhausted. Requests received after the available funds have been exhausted will automatically be placed on a waiting list.
In line with the initiative's dynamics, if the vouchers previously issued are not spent by the first beneficiaries within the maximum period of 15 days from activation, the funds will become available again and users on the waiting list will receive a message via the Io app confirming their entitlement to the grant.
