Rome, November 15 (Adnkronos) – "Citizens must be respected. They deserve clarity. Not recycled slogans or ads copied from comedies. Let's proceed in order. In the last 24 hours, the right has staged two charades. The first concerns pensions. A government that has done nothing on pensions in these three years – already going back on all its election promises – decides to have its own presidential candidate in Campania announce that it will provide a bonus for minimum pensions in Campania.
"A grotesque choice. A confusing proposal that was denied a few hours later by one of the two deputy prime ministers, while the other didn't even comment." This was written on social media by Roberto Fico, candidate for president of the Campania region for the progressive coalition.
"Next up, a center-right hobbyhorse returns: the amnesty. For electoral purposes, here's another slogan to deceive the public, reviving a Berlusconi proposal from 22 years ago. A proposal from 22 years ago recycled seven days before the election. A desperate announcement for a coalition that knows it's lost the election and is clinging to its old favorites. We need to guarantee the right to housing, not amnesty. We're moving forward. Seriously. We'll leave the theatricals to others, because the people of Campania know very well which side they're on."
