Rome, 9 Feb. – (Adnkronos) – “The association’s concrete commitment to the development of the nautical sector continues across the board after a year of great results, in terms of recognition by the government and national institutions and regulatory measures in the sector. This commitment has been further strengthened by the entry of prestigious companies into the association bodies with offices in Lombardy, Liguria, Tuscany, Campania and Marche: Brunswick Marine (Mercury), Fincantieri Yachts, Tankoa Yachts, Rossinavi, Coelmo Spa and MV Motonautica Vesuviana, Italia Yachts, Volvo”. This is what the president of Confindustria Nautica, Saverio Cecchi, said.

In fact, Confindustria Nautica continues its activity in support of the sector. The occasion to take stock was the first council meeting after the renewal of the elected offices, during which "great appreciation" was expressed for the 'Green Book for a new industrial policy strategy for Italy', prepared by the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, with the aim of restarting a broad debate on how to build a shared industrial strategy and for which the public consultation has just closed.

In the association there is "great anticipation" for the text of the bill Valorizzazione risorse mare with further reforms aimed at the reduction of bureaucracy in pleasure boating resulting from the technical proposals of Confindustria Nautica, in order to make the Italian flag more competitive and simplify the obligations of pleasure boaters, which will complete the work done in this sense with the adoption of the Implementation Regulation of the Nautical Code. In the meantime, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Health, at the request of Confindustria Nautica, have issued a series of decrees and circulars that make the new simplified professional title and the new license about to be launched operational.

As regards tourist ports, a technical table was held at the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security for specific legislation on the removal of recurring accumulations of sediment at the entrance of tourist basins due to currents and tides and "in the meantime - it was recalled during the council - the Honourable Gerolamo Cangiano (Transport Commission) has filed a bill with the Chamber of Deputies that welcomes the association's requests for reform to relaunch tourist ports".
