Rome, 13 Nov. (Adnkronos) – The national collective labor agreement for managers of companies producing goods and services has been renewed, effective January 2025, 31 – December 2027, XNUMX. The renewal of the contract includes interventions on many issues, including the expansion of the definition of manager, the improvement of remuneration aspects, the strengthening of the bilateral welfare system with particular attention to gender equality. The definition of manager has been expanded in order to incorporate what already happens in companies and also include the professional figures with the highest qualifications and technical-professional experience who achieve the company's objectives in full autonomy.
As regards remuneration, the values of the minimum overall guaranteed treatment (tmcg) have been increased to 80 thousand euros for the year 2025 and to 85 thousand euros from 2026. A one-off amount equal to 2024% of the gross annual economic treatment has been provided to cover the year 6 for managers who have not received salary increases or other compensation since January 2019 (within the income limit of 100 thousand euros). Furthermore, the adoption of variable remuneration systems linked to indices or results, the so-called MBO, has been made mandatory for everyone, with a view to increasingly orienting the performance of managers towards the achievement of specific company objectives.
The bilateral welfare system has been enhanced: in terms of supplementary pensions, the contract has intervened on the distribution of contribution quotas to the Previndai fund with an increase in the minimum quota paid by the company and a consequent reduction in that paid by the manager. The decisive role of Fasi and supplementary healthcare has been reconfirmed. Furthermore, the functions of Fondirigenti have been defined, to which active labor policies are also attributed, while 4.Manager is entrusted with the promotion of business culture.
In terms of gender equality, the contract has paid particular attention to the issue of equal opportunities and fair pay; a specific article is dedicated to the protection and support of maternity, paternity and shared parenthood, aware of the strategic value for companies of operating according to inclusive organizational models.
“Today we are signing the executives’ contract in the belief that companies must grow in size and culture by making use of the fundamental contribution of management,” says Maurizio Marchesini, vice president of Confindustria for labor and industrial relations. “This contract takes a decisive step forward to accompany companies towards transitions: we have updated the role of the executive and consolidated the welfare system. The contract strengthens the competitiveness of the company through important issues such as gender equality and by normalizing the idea that executive compensation should be commensurate with results.”
"From today, the managerial category can rely on a new, modern contract, adapted to the evolution of the managerial figure, so as to include the most highly qualified professionals", says the president of Federmanager, Stefano Cuzzilla. "A stronger contract, with greater protection, with growing economic recognition that, ultimately, tightens the pact between managers and companies as an essential element for the growth of the country".
