The confrontation between the two families quickly escalated into a full-blown shootout.
Dolores Dori was with her mother, Amalia Levacovich, 59, and her sixteen-year-old son in a car that, while reversing, crashed through the gate of the area. The two women were reportedly the first to draw their weapons and shoot at the rival family, while the boy filmed the entire scene with his cell phone. The violent escalation of gunfire involved both sides, with bullets even hitting cars parked in the field.
The footage of the minor provided investigators with fundamental elements to start the investigations, leading mother and son arrested on charges of attempted aggravated murder, illegal possession and carrying of weapons, and threats.
