Un tragic murder shook the Vigentino district of Milan this afternoon, where a woman of 82 years was strangled and attacked with a lamp in his home in via Bernardino Verro.
The victim was allegedly killed by a 15-year-old boy. After the horrific act, the boy allegedly confessed to the crime to the mother, who immediately alerted the authorities. The State Police and 118 intervened around 16 pm, but for the woman there was nothing more to be done. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the motives behind this violent act.

According to the first reconstructions, this afternoon the fifteen-year-old is said to have gone to the home of the elderly woman, a former family neighbor and long-time friend of his mother. After an argument, the reasons for which are still unclear, the situation has degenerated into afatal assault.
The young man, of Dominican origins, with no criminal record, but with a history of previous psychiatric problems, allegedly first tried to strangle the woman, then violently hit her on the head with a lamp. After the crime, the 15-year-old returned home to his mother, still in the Vigentino neighborhood, and confessed to her what had happened.
The police, together with the scientific team, are carrying out the surveys of the case to clarify the dynamics. In agreement with the Public Prosecutor for Minors, the arrest of the boy on charges of murder is being evaluated.
