France: Sarkozy arrives in court to learn the date and location of his detention.

Paris, October 13 (Adnkronos/AFP) – Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has arrived at the Paris Magistrates' Court, where the National Finance Prosecutor's Office will inform him of the date and location of his detention in connection with the Libya case. On September 25, the former head of state was sentenced to five years' provisional imprisonment in the Libya trial, having been found guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime for allowing his closest associates to conduct propaganda in Muammar Gaddafi's Libya in order to illegally finance his victorious 2007 presidential campaign.
