On Tuesday, May 20, Alberto Stasi, definitively sentenced to 16 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend Chiara Poggi, could also be heard by the Pavia prosecutor's office – according to Tg1 – as part of the new investigation into the Garlasco crime which sees the victim's brother's friend investigated for murder in complicity (with Stasi or others).
Marco Poggi, brother of the twenty-six year old murdered on August 13, 2007, will be heard as a witness on Tuesday in Venice, having moved to Mestre for some time. Marco Poggi was on vacation in Trentino when the crime occurred. The fact that the summonses were made at the same time is a clear sign that the Pavia prosecutor's office wants to speed up the investigation, which only has Sempio under investigation.
