This afternoon, Tuesday 11 November, shortly before 15pm, a serious accident it occurred on state road 16, at kilometre 320, in the territory of Castelfidardo (Ancona).
Two cars, a methane-powered Fiat Punto and a Volkswagen Polo, crashed collided head-on for reasons yet to be clarified.

The Fiat caught fire immediately after the impact, trapping the driver inside, who unfortunately died instantly. The identity of the victim has not yet been made public, as the vehicle was reportedly completely destroyed by the flames.

The firefighters extinguished the flames and secured the area, while the driver of the Polo, a 19 year old boy, Was transported to the emergency room in Osimo for checks, even though they did not suffer serious injuries.
