In addition, several people informed of the facts were questioned and, again, a series of technical checks on objects owned by the victim allowed them to collect further clues.
The electronic devices, in particular, have allowed us to build a picture of the events relating to the last days of the researcher's life. His movements in the Colombian city of Santa Marta and the phases of the crime were also reconstructed. Finally, the authorities collected numerous elements that allowed them to identify the perpetrators of the murder and, in this way, to proceed with their arrest.
