Rome, June 12 (Adnkronos Salute) – The heat is increasing its grip on Italy. Today, Friday June 13, a red dot (maximum alert level 3) is expected in three cities: Bolzano, Campobasso and Perugia. Instead, it will be an orange dot, alert level 2, in 8 cities: Bologna, Brescia, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti, Rome and Turin. This is reported in the bulletin on heat waves from the Ministry of Health, which monitors 27 cities with 24, 48 and 72-hour forecasts.
The red dot indicates "emergency conditions (heat wave) with possible negative effects on the health of healthy and active people and not only on risk subgroups such as the elderly, very young children and people with chronic diseases".
The orange dot indicates "weather conditions that may pose a risk to health."
