Adnkronos Rome, November 11 (Adnkronos) – "Il Fatto Quotidiano, and then several other broadcasts, published an alleged interview with Paolo Borsellino against career separation. Yet, as reported by the newspaper 'Il Dubbio,' which checked the RAI archives, Borsellino was never a guest on the 'Samarcanda' broadcast. Il Fatto Quotidiano, therefore, has yet another lie aimed at discrediting the Meloni government."
So says Carolina Varchi, a member of the Brothers of Italy party and group leader in the Justice Committee in the Chamber of Deputies.
"This is a manipulation that violates the professional ethics that all journalists should always uphold in their work. I hope that the editorial staff of Il Fatto Quotidiano will provide clear explanations because using and exploiting the figure of a national hero like Borsellino to attack the government and the necessary reform of career separation is truly despicable," he concludes.
