This was stated by Francesco Lollobrigida, Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry, attending the 2025 edition of Aigrim Day – Chain Catering Forum in Milan, the annual event that takes stock of the evolution of the organized catering market and the main challenges of the future, involving the main market players, companies in the supply chain, representatives of associations, and institutions.
"I'd also like to thank the restaurant industry for this: it's one of the most vibrant sectors, and at a time when our country is experiencing a boom in tourism, it's clear we've been growing. It's a sector that has suffered particularly, probably the one that suffered more than any other during the Covid period," Lollobrigida concluded.
