Adnkronos Rome, 28 Nov. -(Adnkronos) – The new Lidl store in Vallefoglia was inaugurated today, the third point of sale in the province of Pesaro and Urbino and the nineteenth in the entire region. Mayor Palmiro Ucchielli was present at the ribbon cutting. The operation has had a positive impact, creating 18 new jobs from an employment point of view; furthermore, the local community will benefit from a new stretch of cycle path created by Lidl.
The new store is also inspired by the latest corporate standards of environmental sustainability thanks to a 237 kW photovoltaic system, while the remaining energy supply comes 100% from renewable sources. The Vallefoglia store has a lamination tank of over 400 square meters designed to effectively manage rainwater. This infrastructure allows for the collection and temporary retention of water during rainfall, reducing the risk of flooding and ensuring a controlled release. Finally, a gravel dry garden replaces the green flowerbeds and completes the design of the facades, helping to limit water consumption.
