Unspeakable crimes that make October 7th one of the darkest pages in history," said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
"Today," the Prime Minister added, "we renew our sympathy to the victims' families and once again call for the release of the hostages, who are still waiting to return home after two years of captivity, harassment, and suffering.
Hamas's violence has triggered an unprecedented crisis in the Middle East. Israel's military response has gone beyond any principle of proportionality and is claiming too many innocent lives among Gaza's civilian population.
