Rome, November 11 (Adnkronos) – "As we have always emphasized, I reiterate our full solidarity with you for the attack you suffered. This, however, does not justify the direction of a program that makes disinformation and media stalking its main characteristics. Freedom of expression still exists in Italy, and it is certainly not up to a journalist to establish and decide what a citizen and a parliamentarian can and should think.

On the merits, just watching my full interview shows that the journalist was unprepared, he misrepresented the story, misdefined the Technical Commissions, and was unaware of the awarding procedure, which demonstrates that no single member can influence the final outcome. Even in the case of the report on Beatrice Venezi, he was unaware of the appointment procedures required by the law on operatic-symphonic foundations." This was stated by Federico Mollicone, president of the Chamber of Deputies' publishing committee and member of the Brothers of Italy party, in response to statements made by Report host Sigfrido Ranucci.

"Regarding 'Paese Sera,' it emerged from the parliamentary investigation documents, in Report 146, that it was supported by the Soviet Union. I never accused you of this, of course, but I did point out that the same mindset seems to have persisted, that of those who used disinformation to attack and destroy their political opponents. In 2025, 94% of the reports concern center-right government representatives. Under Draghi and Conte, almost none. If you truly want to provide free, pluralistic information, leave aside the cut-and-paste reports and give the parties involved the opportunity to respond live without having their opinions distorted," he concludes.
