There have been several food recalls in recent months, and now here's a new alert. The Ministry of Health has in fact issued a new food recall for microbiological risk for consumers due to the possible presence of botulinum toxin in the product, a substance highly dangerous for our health.

To be withdrawn from supermarkets for the possible presence of botulinum toxin, a batch of broccoli rabe in oil. To be precise, the "Friarielli 'Neapolitan-style broccoli' in sunflower seed oil” Sold under the brand name "Sapurè, i sapori di Pina" in 940-gram glass jars (equivalent to 1.062 ml). According to the Ministry of Health, the recalled broccoli rabe was produced and packaged by Sapuré at its plant in Pagani, in the province of Salerno. The batch affected by the recall is the one with code SAP/BR/85R, with a minimum shelf life of March 30, 2028. The notice is dated November 7, and the recall was ordered as a precaution by the manufacturer due to the possible presence of the botulinum bacterium (Clostridium botulinum). The Ministry of Health recommends consumers not to consume the product but to return it to the place of purchase.
