"The signing of the agreements today in Sharm el-Sheikh must be the prologue to a broader and more ambitious peace process in the Middle East. The goal is the creation of two states that recognize each other and live together peacefully. This is the diplomatic path that President Giorgia Meloni and the Italian government firmly support, with a view to stability and security for the entire region," he concludes.
