FIRST Music Festival is the most important electronic music festival held in Greece, each edition attracts audiences from all over the world and is ready to return to Athens on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2024 with its two stages, 800 square meters of LED screens, 20 hours of music and about twenty international and local artists. Here are five not to be missed.
ARGY
The Greek DJ and producer ARGY is probably living the best moments of his career: a summer calendar that includes dates all over the world, a very recent set in the Swiss Alps online for a few days for the Cercle platform, the album “New World” – released in March for Afterlife – features collaborations with, among others, Anyma and Artbat and Omnya. An album that reaffirms once again his status as an artist always able to live in the present but not always looking to the future.
ERIC PRYDZ
If there were a select club, an elite of visionary DJs, producers and musicians, one can be sure that the Swede Eric Prydz would be part of it and would always have a front row seat. Very few are capable of producing music and sets of the same level as Prydz, as demonstrated by his absolutely avant-garde shows HOLO and [CELL], the latter starring all summer at Hï Ibiza and which once again has managed to take electronic music to the next level, thanks to a truly unique audio-visual concept.
FAT
More and more at the centre of the global electronic scene, this summer with his debut album “DIAMANTE” FAT has managed to produce a product that goes far beyond the dance sphere. An album composed of 16 tracks and which benefits from the collaboration of Drake, Larry June, Young Dolph (may his soul rest in peace) and &ME and Rampa, a decisive leap forward for the Guatemalan DJ and producer, already nominated for the Grammy Awards and protagonists of sets at festivals of the caliber of Coachella and Tomorrowland and many others. KÖLSCH
Over the years the Danish Rune Reilly Kölsch has built a solid reputation in the global electronic scene, thanks to the trilogy of albums “1977”, “1983” and “1989”, his collaborations with Coldplay, Imogen Heap, London Grammar and Tiga and his sets at the most important festivals and clubs in the world such as. His sets always know how to amaze and excite, thanks to the rare ability to give those who dance what they do not yet know they want. This last prerogative belongs to very few DJs.
MISS MONIQUE
The Ukrainian DJ and producer Miss Monica she always knows how to be recognized for her sound that ranges between progressive house, trance and techno that has led her to play at festivals such as Coachella, Ultra and Electric Daisy Carnival and to total millions and millions of views on YouTube with her sets. Miss Monique is also very active on the recording front, as demonstrated by her productions for labels such as Drumcode, Armada, Tomorrowland Music and for her own label Siona Records.
