Rome, April 30 (Adnkronos) – “What does the government intend to do to put an end to any activity, behavior, and clear allusions to fascist and neo-Nazi symbols, in open and flagrant violation of the constitutional provisions and the laws of our legal system?” This is what is being asked in an urgent question from the Democratic Party to the Prime Minister and the Ministers of the Interior and Justice, first signed by Dario Parrini and Walter Verini.

“On April 29, 2025 – they write – the commemoration of Sergio Ramelli took place in Milan where many far-right participants shouted 'presente' three times with their arms outstretched in the Roman salute, as has often happened in the past on the occasion of other commemorations. Such behaviors make memory and pacification more difficult, which we rightly intend to pursue, as they are clear 'external manifestations of a fascist nature' punished by law 20 June 1952, n. 645, better known as the 'Scelba law', which introduced the crime of apologia of fascism into our legal system”.

“The names of the boys who died in those years are too many and unforgettable in the memory of collective pain – conclude the Pd senators – To reconstruct the memory of those years and put an end to hatred and the “culture of the enemy” it is necessary to ban every symbol and behavior contrary to pacification and this did not happen on the occasion of the commemoration of Sergio Ramelli”.
