Meeting Ravenna: News from AssoParchi

Ravenna, October 13 (askanews) – A programmatic event involving over 200 representatives of theme, water, wildlife, adventure, and experiential parks from across Europe, testifying to the vitality of a constantly evolving sector.

At the heart of the meeting was the presentation of the AssoParchi Observatory, created in collaboration with the research firm GRS, to provide the sector with concrete and reliable data to guide future business decisions.

Luciano Pareschi, President of AssoParchi, stated: "Each park generates eight times its revenue. In fact, parks like Mirabilandia and Gardaland generate revenues of €150-€180 million."

The project is open to all parks and has already entered its operational phase with the mapping of visitor needs. Central to this is the need to profile current and future visitors, measure their satisfaction levels, and assess the perceived experiential value of the parks.

Maurizio Crisanti – Director of Assoparchi: “We are pleased to welcome families every day who, by visiting our parks, will cherish moments of their lives for many years to come; for this reason, we do a wonderful job.”

The Emilia Romagna Regional Councillor for Tourism and Sport, Roberta Frisoni, also took part in the meeting and spoke about a possible "joint vision" between sport and entertainment in the parks.

Roberta Frisoni, Councilor for Commerce, Tourism, and Sport for the Emilia-Romagna Region, released the following statement: "Sport and parks are realities that allow us to experience our regions all year round. In this way, we offer many different experiences. If we can connect sport with parks, we will create something unique."

The Meeting hosted the 24th edition of the Parksmania Awards, the prestigious awards presented annually by the Parksmania magazine to the Italian and European amusement parks that have stood out most during the season.
