A tragic discovery has shaken the tranquility of the Imola area, where a lifeless body was recovered from the waters of the river Santerno. Despite the timely intervention of the firefighters, who brought the Salma, the circumstances of the death and the identity of the victim remain shrouded in mystery.

In the early evening yesterday, shortly after 19pm, the the body lifeless of a man of about 40 years along the banks of the Santerno river, near the railway bridge in Imola. The body, discovered by a passerby, is still without identity.
The Fire Department, alerted immediately, intervened with three teams and the diving unit to recover the body. The Carabinieri and the coroner also arrived on site, who are conducting the investigation under the direction of the prosecutor Marco Imperato.
Le recovery operations were particularly complex and long. At the moment, neither the cause of death nor the identity of the victim, found at the height of via Antonio Graziadei, are known.
