This was stated to Adnkronos Salute by Antonio Magi, general secretary of Sumai Assoprof, the union of outpatient specialists, anticipating that on Tuesday, October 21, "we will begin negotiations at Sisac (the Interregional Structure of Contracted Healthcare Providers) for the renewal of the 2025-27 ACN."
"It must be concluded by December 2025," Magi insists. "The renewal of the local doctors' contracts affects tens of thousands of doctors, including general practitioners and pediatricians, as well as psychologists, veterinarians, chemists, and biologists. Regularizing these professionals will allow the Community Centers to be fully operational by June 2026, as required by Ministerial Decree 77." Furthermore, "like Sumai, I believe it is essential to focus exclusively on salaries to make the profession attractive in the area," he concludes.
