About 50% of voters have already cast their ballots. According to a projection conducted by ABC News and Ipsos, Vice President Harris leads the former president by three percentage points, with 49% to 46% for Trump. This poll, the last before Election Day, was conducted between October 29 and November 1.
So far, more than 78 million Americans have cast early ballots, representing nearly half of the 2020 Election Day total of 158 million, according to the University of Florida’s Election Lab.

On Sunday, Harris visited a historic black church in Michigan, a key state, while Trump held a rally in Pennsylvania. Harris has strong support from women, while Trump has seen his approval ratings grow among Hispanic voters, particularly men.
