Rome, 30 April (askanews) – “As regards the changes contained in the Presidential Decree for secondary and high school students: first point, with a 5 you will fail, even before, but the hypotheses were not clear, we have clarified the various hypotheses, we have made the various hypotheses more peremptory, we have extended the hypotheses, the cases, to the hypotheses of serious bullying”.
This was explained by the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, during the press conference organized at the end of the Council of Ministers.
“With a 6 in conduct you are sent back to September, what does that mean? That you are not admitted to the next class, until you have passed a 'remedial exam', to use a somewhat old-fashioned terminology, in which the student will have to present a critical essay on the value themes connected to the behavior held” Valditara specified, adding that “he will have to demonstrate that he has understood why that behavior is judged negatively by the community and therefore have understood, also in light of the constitutional principles, the principles of the organization of other historical-cultural in-depth studies, because that behavior is certainly negative. He will therefore be admitted to the following year if he passes this evaluation”.
