Lucrezia Ciotti THEaccident, which occurred yesterday evening, Monday 2 December, involved at least two vehicles on thehighway A1, in the northern section between Capua and Caianello, causing one victim and two injuries.

According to initial reconstructions, the accident would have been caused by a collision which caused the car in which the victim was travelling to skid. The woman, 56 years old, originally from Naples, would be died instantly. Despite the timely intervention of the 118 staff, every attempt at resuscitation was in vain.
The traffic police officers intervened at the scene of the crash and carried out investigations to determine the causes and rebuild the dynamics of the collision. The investigations will also have to establish any responsibilities.
The accident caused significant delays on the motorway for several hours.

In addition to the victim, others two persons they remained wounds and were reportedly rushed to the hospitals in Caserta and Sessa Aurunca, where the prognosis is still reserved. Further details on their identities have not yet been released.
La body of the victim, instead, was transported to the institute of forensic medicine of the hospital of Caserta, where she will undergo the usual tests.
