Rome, March 17 (Adnkronos) – Gruppo Cap, the green utility that manages the integrated water service of the metropolitan city of Milan, confirms its commitment to protecting water and, on the occasion of World Water Day, scheduled every year for March 22, is preparing for a week full of conferences, workshops and meetings that will have as their protagonist the most precious resource on the planet.

The theme chosen by the United Nations for this year's World Water Day, 'Glacier Preservation', focuses on a phenomenon that, although it may seem distant from our daily lives, is already having direct impacts on global water flows. The accelerated melting of glaciers is threatening the availability of drinking water, agriculture, energy production and the balance of ecosystems in many parts of the world. In this context, attention to the management and protection of water resources is more crucial than ever.

In recent years, Gruppo Cap has understood how essential it is to tackle these challenges in a 360-degree way, expanding its activities and integrating new strategic areas into traditional water management. In fact, the company has combined hydraulic risk management with waste recovery and energy production from renewable sources. In this way, water remains the beating heart of Cap's strategy, albeit with a broader vision and oriented towards responding in a concrete and sustainable way to environmental challenges and the needs of local territories and communities.

From 18 to 21 March 2025, Gruppo Cap will be the protagonist of a series of events to raise awareness among institutions, businesses and citizens on the importance of water resources.
