It is a fact because mathematics is not an opinion". Thus Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, speaking via video link at the demonstration promoted in Bologna by the centre-right in support of the candidate for governor of Emilia Romagna Elena Ugolini.
"In 2025, the Health Fund will have 136,5 billion euros, and that is the highest figure ever. It is a figure of 10,5 billion higher than when we took office. It also means a significant increase in per capita spending, that is, how much healthcare spends for each citizen. In 2019, the last year before Covid, 1.919 euros were spent for each citizen, in 2025 2.317 euros will be spent. That is almost four hundred euros more. The rest is just talk."
