Rome, 14 Nov. (Adnkronos) – “The Constitutional Court’s decision has made it clear unequivocally that the law on differentiated autonomy as a whole is in conformity with the Constitution. On individual aspects of the law, we will await the reasons for the ruling, to evaluate any corrections to be made”. This is what Minister Roberto Calderoli said.
"The Court itself, in its statement, calls for ensuring the full functionality of the law and recognizes that differentiated autonomy 'must be functional to improving the efficiency of public apparatuses, to ensuring greater political responsibility and to better respond to the expectations and needs of citizens'. These are exactly the objectives that we want to achieve and that we will achieve".
"That said, the ruling does not affect the work we are carrying out with the negotiations started with the regions, which will continue in the coming weeks."
