Rome, 14 Nov. (Adnkronos) – “During the long months of parliamentary battle and in dozens and dozens of public meetings organized on the topic, we have always defined the law on differentiated autonomy that the Meloni Government proposed and imposed on the Chambers as a wrong and dangerous law". This was declared by Senator Dario Parrini, Vice President of the Constitutional Affairs Commission.

"Nevertheless, especially during the discussion in the Constitutional Affairs Committee, we stated from the beginning that in our opinion some relevant provisions of the project were in clear contrast with the Constitution. The decision of the Constitutional Court announced today confirms the correctness of many of our methodological and substantive objections".

"The declaration of unconstitutionality is a resounding rejection of Law 86/2024 because it dismantles numerous essential parts of the text. Fdi, Lega and Fi would do well to reflect on the arrogance with which they have carried out this initiative that is harmful to Italy. They should also apologize to the citizens, and draw from what happened all the necessary lessons, for the present and for the future".
