BTX Café opens in Milan: debut with Priscilla, Miki Formisano and Christian Cristalli. A new free space open to dialogue, where aesthetic medicine meets social activism

After the Botox Bar, the BTX Café opens in Milan, an innovative project that transforms an aesthetic medicine clinic into a free space for discussion, debate and inclusion. No glossy approaches or exclusive lounges: here we talk about beauty as self-determination, identity as a right, bodies as instruments of expression. The format – launched by BTX Bar, already known for its accessible and human approach to aesthetic medicine – will debut on June 23 with an evening dedicated to the trans community, in a period in which the debate on gender rights is more relevant than ever. Guests of this first event will be the drag artist Priscilla, an activist recently at the center of controversy for an intervention in a public school; Miki Formisano, co-founder of Trans Agenda and Christian Cristalli, national manager of trans policies for Arcigay.

The body as language

The title of the launch event – TRANS-formarsi per somigliarsi – highlights the intent to treat the trans theme not as a seasonal Pride phenomenon, but as a complex reality, often the target of hostile rhetoric and restrictive policies.

“If practiced with listening, rigor and humanity, aesthetic medicine can become a path of personal affirmation for many trans people,” emphasizes Camilla Di Pasquali, scientific director of BTX Bar. “Our task is to accompany this process with respect and competence.”

“Stop Being Fake”: At Pride with Authenticity

The BTX Café is part of the broader context of Pride 2025 initiatives promoted by BTX Bar. Among these, the “Stop Being Fake” campaign stands out, a provocative but eloquent invitation to free oneself from imposed masks and embrace one’s authenticity. A slogan that ironically reworks Paris Hilton’s famous “Stop Being Desperate”, transforming it into a manifesto against stereotypes and aesthetic homologation. In view of Milan Pride, other introductory events are also planned at the Euforia space, conceived to develop a new grammar of the body and identity. It will all culminate with the participation of BTX Bar in the parade, together with the La Boum collective, with a float dedicated to beauty as an act of freedom.

BTX Bar: A New Way to Practice Aesthetic Medicine

Born in 2021, the BTX Bar has revolutionized the aesthetic medicine sector in Italy, with locations in Rome, Monza and Milan. Far from the clichés of exclusive luxury, the brand offers a professional yet informal environment, where beauty is seen as an integral part of psychophysical well-being and not as an external imposition. With the motto “You, better”, BTX Bar redefines the doctor-patient relationship in a more empathetic, transparent and participatory way. The BTX Café is the natural extension of this philosophy: a place where taking care of yourself also involves comparing yourself with others and the freedom to be.
