Rome, May 14 (Adnkronos) – “Agende 21 has been supporting municipalities for many years, helping them to draft the CAM at a local level and in general the guidelines to have an increasingly sustainable approach to all the contracts that are brought into play by the individual administrations. Two virtuous cases are certainly that of Padua and Lecco, where local forums were actually promoted, with the direct participation of citizens who signed up and actively took part in the activities promoted by the association”.
This is what Carlotta Bonvicini, Coordination of Italian Local Agenda 21 - Councilor for Climate Policies and Sustainable Mobility of Reggio Emilia, said at the conference 'A strong Europe is the Europe of the Green Deal: competitive, respectful and independent', on the occasion of the two-day Fondazione Ecosistemi at the Compraverde Buygreen Forum in Rome.
"As for Reggio Emilia, we are trying to apply the Cam in all the policies we carry out, in particular the contracts related to education and above all the projects for sustainable mobility, trying to promote a new and integrated approach thanks to the introduction of the Cam in our contracts", he adds.
