Brothers of Italy expels Pozzolo from the group in the Chamber: the New Year's Eve shot
On New Year's Eve 2023, during a party in the premises of the Pro Loco of Rosazza, in the province of Biella, a shot of gun started accidentally he wounded in the leg Luca Campana, 31 years old, son-in-law of the head of the bodyguard of the Undersecretary of Justice Andrea Delmastro.
The mini revolver from which the shot was fired belonged to Emanuele Pozzolo, a deputy of Fratelli d'Italia, who was also present at the event. As reported by The paper, Emanuele Pozzolo has been excluded from the Brothers of Italy group in the Chamber. The newspaper reports that, as emerged from the site, the party's board has voted unanimously for expulsion of the deputy, involved in the accident related to the shot of New Year's Eve in Rosazza in 2023, during a party which was also attended by Undersecretary Delmastro.
Pozzolo had been suspended from the party in January 2024 and, in February 2025, the Fratelli d'Italia arbitration board had officially decreed his expulsion. Today, May 14, 2025, his exclusion from the group in the Chamber marks the end of a long period of estrangement from the party.
