In this context, I consider Elly Schlein a secretary who has ferried us from one of the lowest points of our consensus to 23% and, in the future, I hope even more. I support her, especially in these passages of political struggle, as much as I can, with conviction and friendship. In this context, for at least four years now I have insisted on the need for a body that gathers the liberal, republican and moderate forces that do not intend in any way to submit to the Italian right or support its government failure".

I consider the 'Più uno' initiative, promoted by Ernesto Ruffini, with sympathy because it can be one of the many streams in the construction of a broad hypothesis of organization of this centrist subject that could aspire to at least 10% and that for various reasons we have noted has no intention of entering the PD and the other parties of the progressive coalition.
