In a accident road in Sessa Arunca, a 23-year-old carabiniere, Matteo Ferrara, and his 22-year-old girlfriend, Melissa Rea, died. The two young people they were riding the scooter, with him at the wheel, when they crashed into a car, a Fiat Punto, along the Provincial Road 81. Emergency services arrived on site immediately, but there was nothing more that could be done for the two boys. The driver of the Fiat Punto was instead taken to the San Rocco hospital, in a state of shock. The authorities are currently investigating to understand the exact dynamics of the accident but, most likely, it was a failure to give way.
