Adnkronos Milan, 7 February – (Adnkronos) – Bper's takeover bid for Pop Sondrio is "an operation that in our intentions is certainly not to be considered a hostile operation, and starts from the CEO's consideration of the validity of Banca Popolare di Sondrio as a bank capable of continuing to grow and develop in a logic close to ours and which places innovation, something that everyone, not only we must avoid, but that we must even use as a positive tool". This was stated by Bper's president Fabio Cerchiai during the press conference to present the voluntary public exchange offer promoted by the Group on all the shares of Banca Popolare di Sondrio.
