It happened in Brescia where a 4-year-old boy fell, probably after escaping the sight of his parents, in the swimming pool. The little boy was rescued quickly and rushed to the hospital: he is hospitalized in Bergamo in very serious conditions.
The authorities have launched an investigation and carried out an initial reconstruction of the facts of what happened in the municipality of Castrezzato, whose community is, together with that of Rovato (after the little boy lives with his parents) shocked and incredulous.
4-Year-Old Boy Falls Into Pool: Rescued, He Is In Very Serious Condition
The child is in a coma in desperate conditions after being transferred, on Friday afternoon, to the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo. It all happened on Friday, when the child was with the Parents in a park with swimming pools in the municipality of Castrezzato: according to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the little boy, aged 4, escaped the control of his mother and father, ending up in the water and holding his breath for a certain period of time. It is not clear at the moment how long he remained under water, but as soon as he was noticed, the emergency services were alerted.
Doctors and nurses intervened on the spot and after having rescued him they carried out an emergency transport to the hospital. The child never regained consciousness and was transferred to Bergamo by helicopter ambulance: here the doctors performed resuscitation procedures and then confirmed that he is in an irreversible coma. The little boy is attached to machines to keep him alive but his clinical condition does not leave much hope. I police of Castrezzato, who intervened at the scene of the accident, are working to shed light on what happened.
The first to notice the baby's body in the water was the father who immediately recovered him and then asked for help. Messages of closeness to the family, shocked and in shock, arrived from the local administrations of Rovato and Castrezzato.
