A new earthquake shakes Naples
Fears and evacuations
The magnitude 3.5 earthquake has rekindled fears among the population, especially in Bagnoli, where the earthquake was felt most intensely. Here, signs of the previous earthquake are still visible, with rubble and debris scattered across the streets. Many residents, frightened by the possibility of further tremors, have decided not to return home and have sought refuge with relatives and friends. Some have requested hospitality at the reception center on Via Acate, in the heart of the neighborhood, where local authorities are trying to provide support to those in need.
Emergency structures activated
To deal with the emergency, the sports hall in Pozzuoli, the Palatrincone, has been equipped with dozens of beds to accommodate those who do not have a safe place to spend the night. The authorities are monitoring the situation and urging residents to remain vigilant, providing constant updates on the seismic situation. The community is called to unite in this moment of crisis, demonstrating solidarity and mutual support. The fear of a new earthquake continues to spread, but the resilience of the citizens is evident.
