An ordinary journey turns into an extraordinary event: a passenger goes into labor thousands of meters above sea level and gives birth in flight amidst the astonishment of passengers and crew. EgyptAir cabin crew mobilized to assist the woman during this moment and the spokesperson expressed strong emotion for what happened:

The health conditions of mother and daughter
The captain and first officer made an emergency landing in Kufra, southern Libya, so that the new mother and baby could undergo all the usual post-natal checks in the hospital. Doctors have confirmed is both are in excellent health. So, after all the necessary tests, the two were discharged without any concerns.
