La singer Francesca Calearo, aka Madame, has decided to face the trial with ordinary procedure as part of the investigation into alleged fake anti-Covid vaccinations aimed at obtaining the Green Pass. Former tennis player Camila Giorgi, on the other hand, made a different choice, opting for the abbreviated trial together with her parents, a formula that allows for a reduction in sentence in the event of a conviction.
The investigation, coordinated by the Vicenza Public Prosecutor's Office, involves a total of 25 people. Ten of the suspects have already chosen the path of plea bargaining, including Dr. Daniela Grillone Tecioiu – believed to be at the center of the fake vaccination system – and her partner, who reportedly reached an agreement with the prosecution for a two-year sentence.
