The environmental and social rules it introduces enhance the quality of Italian and European production, historically based on high standards and efficient use of resources. Historically, Europe has lacked natural resources and has a very high social reference model”.
Silvano Falocco, director of Fondazione Ecosistemi – Forum Compraverde Buygreen, declared this during the Forum Compraverde Buygreen 2025, underlining the strategic value of the rules contained in the European package for the green transition.
“Tools such as Ecodesign, greenwashing, the so-called Dnsh (Do No Significant Harm) legislation and Green Public Procurement serve to protect our businesses from unfair competition that does not respect the same criteria,” concluded Falocco.
