Adnkronos Rome, 8 Feb. (Adnkronos) – "I express my strongest condemnation for the vile act of vandalism perpetrated against the Basovizza foiba. An intolerable act that deeply offends the historical memory of the Nation, made even more serious because it occurred on the eve of Remembrance Day". This was stated by the Minister for European Affairs, Cohesion Policies and the PNRR, Tommaso Foti.
"I extend my closeness - he added - to the families of the victims of the exiles, hoping that those responsible for this despicable act will be brought to justice as soon as possible. Today more than ever it is necessary to continue to defend the historical truth and to promote the memory of a tragedy that has marked the history of Italy".
