An important resource for recovery
In 2023, the eight per thousand share of Irpef devolved to state management amounts to 63.673.631,43 €. This sum represents a crucial opportunity to finance extraordinary interventions aimed at recovery from drug addiction and other pathological dependencies. The decision to allocate these resources was taken during the Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who stressed the importance of making the best use of available resources to address a social problem of great relevance.
Priority interventions for public health
The note from Palazzo Chigi highlights that the resources must be used primarily for projects of prevention and for the recovery of people affected by addictions. This approach aims to ensure that funds are used effectively, helping to improve the quality of life of those struggling with these issues. Addiction management is a complex issue and requires coordinated intervention between institutions, communities and families.
The context of addictions in Italy
Pathological addictions represent a growing challenge for Italian society. According to recent studies, the number of people suffering from addictions is increasing, and the social and economic consequences are significant. The allocation of funds for recovery is therefore not only an act of social responsibility, but also an investment in the future of the country. Reintegration projects in therapeutic communities can make a difference, offering support and opportunities to those trying to rebuild their lives.
