Seeing girls playing and having fun is a very important message against any form of gender stereotype and pushes for the spread of grassroots sports”. These are the words of Alessandro Onorato, Councillor for Sports, Fashion and Major Events of the Municipality of Rome, participating today in Rome, in the Final of the women's football tournament 'Girls just wanna have goals', at the Nando Martellini Stadium at the Baths of Caracalla.
“We thank and support Sport senza frontiere. Their work is extraordinary and the Girls just wanna have goals initiative is very precious. We also thank Axa who contributed decisively to the success – says Onorato – Part of the funds raised will be used to give the opportunity to attend summer camps completely free of charge. This is the most beautiful part of sport. It is the part we support”.
