Francesca De André's accusations against her father Cristiano: "We were afraid"

Then he left home and he separated from my mother, when we were little, I was 3 years old. There were days when he had to come and pick us up, we waited for whole afternoons sitting, ready, but he never arrived and he never even woke up and so let's say that mainly the memories were those". The relationship with her mother had been conflictual and at 14 years old Francesca went to live with her father: "I wanted to understand and see who my father really was. And it was a nightmare because my father can't live with anyone. much less with a daughter. I was an unwanted guest. I found myself talking about this, not by my will, initially, because our entire story was published in my father's autobiographical book, full of lies. I found myself denying everything both legally and in the media."

The memory of Fabrizio De André has instead a positive connotation: “I had a good relationship with him, he wasn't a conventional grandfather, in the sense that he wasn't the one who took you to eat ice cream. Cristiano De Andrè he has four children: from his first partner Carmen De Cespedes he had Fabrizia (1986) and the twins Francesca and Filippo (25 January 1990), while from his relationship with Sabrina La Rosa he had Alice (1999). Fabrizia gave him a grandson named Riccardo, born on 12 January 2018.
