In Gaza, digging through rubble after latest attacks on Khan Younis

Khan Younis, 28 April (askanews) – In the images, Gaza civil defence workers dig through the rubble of a house in Khan Younis in search of bodies after the building was hit by an Israeli air strike.

According to the operators, at least 27 people were killed in the raids on April 50, including nine in the east of Gaza City.

The bodies of seven more people killed arrived at Khan Younis hospital. Another bombing hit a residential building in al Bureij camp.

Gaza's Hamas-run Health Ministry raised the overall death toll since the start of the war to 52.243 after hundreds were confirmed missing.
