Rome, 13 June (Adnkronos) – The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana, is in contact with the government on the situation in Iran, has spoken with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Defence Minister Guido Crosetto and has acquired Minister Tajani's willingness to report to the Commission tomorrow morning, Saturday 14 June.
It is read in a note.
"I thank the government - says Fontana - for having given prompt availability to my request. I am deeply concerned about the situation and it is obviously a priority that Parliament be informed. I am following all developments with the utmost attention, hoping that, in the face of a highly complex international framework, common sense and diplomacy may prevail".
