The wait is almost over. The edition 2025 de The Island of the Famous is ready to land in prime time, with its load of adventure, intrigue and famous faces from the world of entertainment. Starting from May 7, the public will be able to follow the adventures of the new castaways catapulted to Honduras, in an edition that promises strong emotions and twists.
The cast has already been greeted with enthusiasm, and the latest name to enter the game has immediately sparked debate among fans.
Island of the famous 2025: the first twelve contestants
The Island of the Famous 2025 is about to return to Channel 5, with the first bet set for May 7. Veronica Gentili will be at the helm, supported by Simona Ventura as commentator and Pierpaolo Pretelli as correspondent.
Revealed in the meantime the first 12 contestants officials: among them, the Latin dancer Nunzio Stancampiano, known for his experience on 'Amici'; the comedian and host Omar Fantini; the former tronista and influencer Teresanna Pugliese; the actress and activist Loredana Cannata; the neomelodic singer Angelo Famao; and Cristina Plevani, winner of the first 'Big Brother'. Completing the group are Chiara Balistreri, a young woman from Bologna who reported the violence she suffered; Patrizia Rossetti, a historic face of TV; Camila Giorgi, former tennis player and fashion icon; and Antonella Mosetti, famous since the days of 'Non è la Rai'.
Isola dei Famosi 2025, the name that changes everything appears: surprise among fans
According to the rumors, the last to sign the agreement to participate in The Island of the Famous 2025 was Dino Giarrusso, former MEP and former well-known face of the programme Reservoir Dogs. Born in 1974, Giarrusso has a degree in Communication Sciences and is a professional journalist.
Before dedicating himself to politics, he also worked in the entertainment world: he acted in fiction such as Commissioner Manara e Try it again professor, in addition to covering the role of envoy for Reservoir Dogs between the 2014 and the 2018.
In 2018 he joined the Movement 5 Stars, becoming an MEP in 2019. After leaving the movement, he tried – unsuccessfully – to get closer to the Democratic Party. Since 2019 he has been married to Sara Garreffa, a lawyer, and lives in Rome. The couple has no children.
