Rome, 17 June (Adnkronos) – "This week the Chamber of Deputies was convened for four hours of work and the explanation is clear to everyone: if there are no usual government decrees to convert, we have no measures to address because the centre-right majority does not have even a shred of a proposal to submit to the chamber".

M5S MP Valentina D'Orso said this in the Chamber of Deputies.

"It's a sad and depressing picture for the Chamber. Do they really have no ideas and projects to fight for? I feel ashamed in their place, what will their voters think? This is how the center-right fuels and cultivates abstentionism. If the majority needs a hand, we are ready, we have so many proposed laws to introduce. We have ideas and passion. This way we will be able to generate debates and discussions, given that this Chamber seems dead. Will they reject all our proposals? Let them do it, perhaps giving plausible reasons, but at least we will have had a political debate. We ask the majority for a surge of dignity, raise your heads, make sure that some of your or our proposals are put on the calendar. We all represent the citizens but here their voice is no longer heard".
