Capri (Naples), 23 June (askanews) – Together in concert to reiterate the no to violence against women. Fiorella Mannoia, Paola Turci and Noemi performed at the Certosa di Capri in an evening, organized in the monumental complex of the island, to raise funds for the Una Nessuna Centomila Foundation which deals with the prevention and fight against gender violence:
“Our Foundation was born in 2022 after Campovolo – Mannoia said – a friend of mine who was at the concert in the dressing room told me: 'Can't it end here? We have to move forward and do something'.
And since then we decided to do it and this thing has become bigger than us, in these three years we have done a lot".
Among the protagonists is also the actress Cristina Donadio. "Cristina like many other artists is part of the Foundation and our artistic laboratory, all of us do something on our stages as we can to never turn off the light on violence against women. Because violence is a cultural fact first of all and we want to change this culture".
The event is promoted by the Foundation, of which Fiorella Mannoia is honorary president, together with the City of Capri and the Capri Tourist Port.
